He graduated from the FAMU Film Academy in Prague (film and TV editing).

As editor he worked on approximately 80 films and 12 TV series.

A lot of the films he edited received awards at festivals in Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Moscow, Montreal, Roterdam, Prague, Cairo...
In 2004 the German film magazine Schnitt, issued in Cologne under the auspecies of the Berlin Festival, named him one of the five top editors in Europe.

Academic achievemnts/lectures:

He is the founder of the Film School at Dunav Film, where he set up the Department for Film and TV Editing.
He is also the founder of the Department for Film and TV Editing at the BK Art Academy.
He was full-time professor and Department Head for ten years at the BK Art Academy in Belgrade. He was visiting professor in Ohio, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Sarajevo, Prague…
